Mumbai city



        Mumbai city is the capital of Maharashtra. Previously known as Bombay, it one of the world's largest and most densely populated areas. It lies on the west coast and is known for its deep natural harbor. The neighboring urban areas - Navi Mumbai and Thane - are part of Mumbai.
         It is also known as the financial capital of India and is home to many top domestic and international companies and financial institutions which have their headquarters here. It was honored with the "Alpha World City" title in 2009. The Bombay Stock Exchange is one of the largest in the world.
        Also referred to as the entertainment capital of India, Mumbai is home to Bollywood which is one of the biggest film industries in the world and employs thousands of people.
